I just got an accounting job in Cleveland. What would be an acceptable carrying bag I could use to carry in my personal items (GPS, Zune, Medication ect.)? I don't see too many people using brief cases anymore. What do you all use? I'll be taking the Bus most of the time so I need somewhere to keep these items.

Thanks for any help

I'm still rocking the backpack at 24 (on the rare occasion that I need to carry something in or out). Feels a bit amateurish, but some of the 40 year olds do it too, so I don't feel so bad.

I think the only alternatives are a laptop bag or messenger type bag, but I'm too lazy to carry stuff and don't like shoulder straps.

I also still use my backpack. I've had the thing since 8th grade, so maybe it's time for a change.... Though in my defense there are some 40+ year olds at my work that also carry backpacks. When I graduate I'd like to get a nice messenger bag though.

I just use a good laptop shoulder bag. That way if I have to carry my laptop I can, but for the most part I use it as my man purse.

Messenger bags from popular stores are a bit too common. If you want something more 'unique', try an army surplus. Otherwise laptop bag.

Timbuk2. These bags are expensive but they're well worth it. Backpacks look really childish

Looking for a man bag? Timbuk2's too common. Check out Manhattan Portage.
