Carrying a video signal 20 meters

Hi guys,

We have a projector which is somewhat awkwardly placed, and we need to carry the signal for 20 meters. This has proven problematic. We have tried with a standard-but-good quality HDMI cable - no luck. Then we tried with 2 10 meter cables with a repeater in between. Not any better.

So, we asked two vendors. One suggested a very expensive 20 meter HDMI cable:

Another suggested conveting it to ethernet:

I can also see optical HDMI cables mentioned. Does one of you guys have any experience with this? It is an office environment, but it is possibly quite noisy.

Redmere cables are nice but worth nothing they don't support 4K60 signals currently. So anyone running 4K is stuck at < 15 foot cables.

4K is not relevant, so anything that will carry 1080p is good enough. I will try the high quality HDMI cable.

I've run 50 and 75 foot long HDMI cables a couple of years back. Bought them from Monoprice and carried a signal form a a DirecTV HD DVR to a projector in another room. Worked fine, but I think am not sure if it was transport a 1080i signal or a progressive one, which can make a difference on the bandwidth ability of a cable.

What is the source equipment that is sending the video signal? Maybe Ethernet to Miracast/Chromecast/Airplay might be a better solution.
