I just had fresh carrot juice and it's great! I've only had it out of the can and it was loaded up with sodium- fresh stuff is sweet and delicious.

Someone told me to put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in. I'll have to try that later.:)

Yeah, you can buy a presser/juicer, but it's alot of work.

My supermarket had Odwalla Carrot Juice on sale for $3 and I picked up 1/2 Gallon. It's usually $5+, which was why I never tried it before.

Well, that's nice and all, but it would be funnier if I actually said I "squeezed" them.

But hell, let's just make up our own posts, shall we?:p

Interesting.

So I assume it would take an awful lot of carrot juice to turn your skin orange. Other than the skin color it's not harmful, correct?

Don't worry, at $5 1/2 gallon I couldn't afford it anyways.;)

Odwalla is really good. Part of the reason it is so sweet is that they peel the carrots before pressing (which eliminates that weird metallic taste that comes from the skins - I think it is caused by oxidation). IMO it was even better before they started flash-pasteurizing their juice (they did this after an E Coli incident several years ago that killed at least one child - IIRC it was caused by field workers picking up a few apples off the ground, rather than picking them off a tree, so that they had been exposed to manure).

Fresh carrot juice is great! I usually buy the 10lb bags and it'll last me a week or so. Peel them and then juice them. Only weird thing is that your poopoo will turn orange.
