Stars are normal people also who happen to be able to get their own personal views out to a much larger audience. The fact that others are smart enough to realize that and to take advantage of it (no matter whether they are Alec Baldwin pimping Obama or Steven Baldwin pimping McCain) is something that most of us would do.

It's probably one of the main reasons internet boards and blogs are as popular as they are now. Everyone likes to think that they have something that someone somewhere wants to hear. Only the idiots (that's you Carrie) are too stupid to act on it.

I'd rather people become EDUCATED VOTERS and take what they know and what they believe in and vote on that, rather than what stupid celebs are saying. I respect Carrie for what she said.

Some people drink the hollywood star kool-ade and some people drink the joe the plumber kool-ade.

Does anyone else notice that she is using her status as a star to convince the public to chastise celebrities who use their status as a star to convince people about things?
