LOVE THIS SHOW

and can not wait for the REAL season to get on the way

i felt the last season was more to explain - get a base of the story to be seen over the seasons

I wasn't aware anyone actually watched this show. I think I caught a few minutes of it last season. Seemed entirely too strange for me.

Man - I missed it. I'm so bummed. :( I'll try to catch it this week sometime. Is the first season available on DVD? Or was that downloaded? That was some good stuff... Everytime I'd watch an episode last season, I'd end by saying "please don't x-file on me please don't x-file on me"... I was a huge fan of the X-Files until, what, season five or six when they went off the reservation... Let's hope the writers of Carnivale have as good an ending as their beginning....

I thought tonight's episode was a bit over the top compared to last season... but it was quite a cliffhanger. I have noticed that each episode never really resolves anything and you are just forced to watch next week. Its almost like a soap opera.

It seems they are just making things up as they go along with the plot. That random Russian soldier has nothing to do with anything except randomly being in the dream. It seems they didn't quite know how to get where they wanted with this plot so they are doctoring it all after the fact to make it work. However, its still a great show.

eh, i think you have to be a little more prepaired in a series to get HBO to pay for it :p

So your saying that we should get all the answers at the beginning?

Great show. I'm watching the rerun of the first three episodes tonight. I must say I'm a bit confused as to what's going on but it's a good show anyway. Of course I missed bits and pieces of the last season so that might be why I'm in the dark.

Question: Was Henry Scudder Ben's father? It seems like where that show is leading or maybe I missed that part of last season.

i have a friend tape it for me, i have yet to watch episode 2 and 3 of this season..... I like the show.....alot. Great allegory going on with interesting depth and character development, however, the pace is a little on the tedious side. I want to see the face of management.

But now Sampson is the go betweeen since Ben is not allowed in the Management cart.

Will they find Scudder?

i watched it last week "the road to damascus" and i just didn't get it.

some dirty people had sex in a car and there was a fight. i had to keep flipping channels, it was so boring.
