you can watch the tv ad Here

for you guys that don't know who the Maloof brothers are, they own the Palms hotel/casino in Las Vegas. They have a real combo that costs $6000 (obviously the wine brings up the price, not sure if the burger is any different ex. if it uses Kobe beef, or expensive ass mushrooms). I know they pride themselves in having the "young mans" casino which tries to cater to the young hip crowd such as college student with their playboy parties etc.

a little ridiculous if you ask me but eh good for a laugh.

exlusively at the Palms, who wants to go!?

six dollar burgers are pretty daam good, but I'm not a fan of wine. But, if they ever offer a 10 dollar meal with a Six Dollar Burger and a 40's of Mickies or a 22 of Newcastle I'm there :)

I've never had the combo itself, but I wouldn't doubt that there are plenty of people who order it.

I'm pretty sure it's the wine that makes it $6k.
Since I'm a kings fan, the maloofs are my heroes. :)

Maloof brothers are better known for owning the Sacramento Kings. Just wanted to point that out. :)

I dont know if thats true anymore.... They were originally known for owning the Kings and being die hard sports fans, but I think now someone says Maloof and one thinks Palms and girls in bikinis :)

Wait, maybe thats just me :)

I got a 22 of newcastle the other night and realized it wasnt even 22 ounces! I think it was somewhere around 19... I'm preeety sure it was 550ml, which is 18.6 ounces. Dirty.

And to keep on the thread, it's the wine that makes it so expensive, the burger is standard, I believe.

i dunno, i think beer would go great but i think a dry bordeaux would be great too. the key is for it to be dry if it isn't dry or it was too much of a fruity taste no ty. The dry bordeaux would go good because of the salty/greasy flavor of the food and fries. Doesn't mean i am about to go pay $15 for a bottle of bordeaux to eat with carls jr let alone $5994

also i am from LA, i have been to kings games at the staple center, and i still know the Maloof bros at the owners of the palms, i had forgottent hey own the kings until this thread brought it up *edit* then again i hate sports so lol

They own the Sacramento Kings basketball team, not the LA Kings Hockey team.

Yeah it's the wine that makes it expensive but even if it's a 24 year old Bordeaux the cork charge on that ah heck is still about $3000! :Q

3 bucks is typical. We're talking room service, everything is expensive all. I wouldn't doubt if the Wine that comes with the burger is Cicso or Mad Dog 20/20. They walk it to your room and think they can get away with charging 10x for it! haha.

That would actually be good, to order this, and get some ghetto whino wine. Room Service "fees" are a bitch :)
