Carlos Zambrano

Nice job there by Big Z. Bad week for the Brewers. Get killed by the Phils then a rival has a no hitter in their own park.

bud selig really f'ed over the astros to try to get the brewers into the playoffs.

Anyone watching today's Cubs/Astros game? Ted Lilly currently has a no-no through 6 innings. That's 15 consecutive hitless innings for the Cubs vs Astros in this series. If a miracle occurs and Lilly brings this one home it would be in the top 5 unlikeliest events in sports history.

lol, they were talking about getting rid of him before the season started, but then Milwaukee turned into a pretty good team. Now that they are bad again, I guess he finally got what was coming.

That was unexpected. yep. Grats to Zambrano after rotator cuff surgery, no easy feat.

Fixed it for you.

Brew Crew is sinking like a stone. They've lost 11 of 14 to turn a 5 game lead into a flat-footed tie. Phillies seem to have the schedule advantage. The Brewers have 6 of their last 12 against the Cubs while the Phillies have 6 against Atlanta and 3 each against the Nats and Marlins. Playing .500 ball might get the Phils into the playoffs.

Still, a massive panic move here. Firing a manager with 12 left while tied for a playoff spot? I doubt whether that's happened in baseball history.
