i think we've all seen this infomercial on TV. Carleton's Sheets

some dude named Carleton selling his proven "get rich at real estate" course.

I dunno much about real estate. The guy says that you don't need much money to get started in the business.

what's his gimmick? is there some loophole he uses? are his methods kinda "pyramidal" in any way or something?

has anyone bought his course and gotten real results?

just curious.

Feel free to look around this site, many of the answers you seek are available there. :)

Discalimer:

I in no way endorse that site, or the information they write. I also in no way endorse going heavily into debt to buy investment property.

The guy makes money off of the books and people who believe there's some kind of magic formula.

The real estate market has been great, but it does not guarantee anything.

Any of these informercials on real estate, cash flow, notes, option trading, etc, are pretty much of a scam.
whenever I see any commercial that sells advice, I think of this ... if this idea is so great and the guy made millions doing it, why would he want to share the information. I would just keep my mouth shut and continue to exploit the idea and make millions ... why would I share this information?

They claim it's "to help other people" but if so, why are they charging for it?

Fact is, if any of the buy-our-moneymaking-scheme really worked to make above minimum wage, the person selling it could afford to hire people to carry out the scheme and keep the excess profits over the salaries paid.

If one full time worker can really make $200K/year in real estate, why doesn't the guru pay 10 people $70K/year and keep the $1.3 million profit for himself? Could it be because the scam doesn't really work?
