I just got know him for already a month and being his caregiver and new buddy, it's a tough thing to swallow. But his illness is taking a toll right now :(

Any family members paying him a visit once in a while?

Made a point of visiting my dad (with my mom) before he passed almost 7 years back. Wasn't there when it happened (non visiting hours - 1am). :(

His family is with him. He took his last breath @ 1:14 pm pst. I was at his bedside and so does his family. He's not suffering anymore.

RIP my friend, your a good man.

Take care of yourself now man. Seek some counseling. I have been in a similar situation a few times, it can only help.

Sorry to hear about that, my uncle died about 2 years ago, I would take a trip down to see him every other weekend during the last 6 months. I knew there wasn't much time left, but didn't want to regret not visiting enough.
