CARIBANA wraps up in Toronto this weekend!!! Big parade Saturday!!! I'm gonna go...for the FIRST TIME!!! (Yes when I was growing up in Toronto, parents wouldn't take me to Caribana because they thought it was inappropriate for kids, having seen the REAL Carnivale in Rio.)

So what to do? Besides the parade all day Saturday, what do Caribana-goers do to keep themselves crunke..err..."entertained"???

Anyone else going?
 
SWEET, I just got a SUITE (two bedrooms) at the Four Points Sheraton on Lakeshore for FREE (gotta love the Indian hookup!) All access to the minibar, hot tub, now I just gotta find some Canadian hunnies at Caribana to come back to the room!

So I need more info on this Caribana thing...how does it compare to Mardi Gras (or does it even compare?) Is it just a flashy costume tourist thing or do people really get into it?
