I'm curious if this was caused by an electric car or hybrid with a LI-Ion battery pack that had a meltdown.
I read another article that said something about Porsche being on board, so Raisins may be hiring soon.
A Porsche spokesperson confirmed that "a number" of Porsche cars are among the Felicity Ace's cargo and said it's too early to tell if any can be salvaged.
Think of the emissions savings!
Reports are now saying that the loss is assumed to be tens of thousands of dollars.![]()
They're VWs. It's basically one european state away from being a tugboat full of Yugos.err each car is tens of thousands?

Yeah, but only flamers buy them these days.a new golf is at least 25k out the door.
VWs are cars that should not be bought unless one is upper middle-class or higher.
I seem to remember people swearing by them back in the 80s. Since the 90s though I've never met anyone who was happy with theirs or who ever went back for another one.Because they tend to be expensive to maintain junk?
My wife bought a 2003 Jetta for our daughter to use. 4 years old, about 15,000 miles...SHOULD have been a decent car...nope. Constantly in the shop for one thing or another. (I was glad she got an extended warranty for it, or it would have been expensive as hell. Got rid of it a few years later.

Yeah, exactly that. Never owned one myself but I’ve seen speedkar99 review one of the cars and/or engines.Because they tend to be expensive to maintain junk?
