Welcome!

I will be attending school part time at night to earn a bachelors in information technology.
What is the difference between that and a computer science degree?

Text - Program I was going to take for the bachelors.

I ultimatly would like to get into Network Security and become something like a Security Architect.

Any advice would be great.

Same direction I'm heading. I finished my BS in CIS a couple of years ago. Your curriculum looks about the same as what I did...not that far off from computer science. Anyhow, I'm working on my Masters, now.

My program is in Information Assurance. It (the program) was blessed by the the NSA as a Center of Academic Excellence. Its great! So far each course has paralleled some aspect of my job in the Navy.

I work in Information Security and really enjoy it. I recommend taking a look at some of the security certs out there also. (CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM, MCSE Security, etc.)

I finish my hitch in the Navy next spring. I'm looking at getting an Information Systems Security Manager job...Salaries out there are awesome.
