Career of the Day: Human Drive Thru Speaker

While entertaining an urge for a tasty sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle, I happened upon one of the sh!tt!est jobs I've ever seen. Apparently in was inconvenient for me to order at the first window so they stuck an old woman out by the side of the road next to the menu board with a pda to take my order. The lady was nice and commented on my pretty car, but her job must lick some nasty ball cheese.:disgust:

Yes, for lack of anything useful in this thread, the "nasty ball cheese" is something that really pushed it over the edge.

*smacks conjur for saying that*

I am a very clean person, she's just being silly.

I HATE TALKING TO SPEAKERS ....every single mcdonalds should have a human being out there...i really hate talking to a speaker....a lot of times the order doesn't go through well, etc etc....

having a human there seems a lot more friendly and more convenient IMO

I've seen 15 year old kids standing at the local McDs Drive Thru here. It's quite awkward actually. I think a speaker with a board that shows your order is plenty fine for the process. No need to stick a kid (or old lady) out there in the freezing cold or the summer heat.

The job does suck monkey balls.

that is a fine McJob , it should help her supplement her SS check nicely.

we don't want the old people eating cat food now do we?
