career as an IT recruiter?

does anyone know what it takes? i always thought it would be a cool job to have, to help others get employment.

I can?t imagine it?d be a cool job personally. It'd be just like any other recruitment consultant job role I would have thought. Poor pay as well I believe, or though things may differ across the pond.

It depends where you go; the recruiter that snagged me makes damn good money. He makes a percentage based off what his employee is hired at.

I deal with them on a regular basis and find it funny how much they talk out of their asses.

But I've gotten a lot of jobs through IT recruiters also.
