Cardinal's are so high up in the catholic hierarchy that they can be elected pope. I was joking with a colleague at work on the number of little boys a catholic clergyman would have to touch up to be eligible for pope-ship.
We settled on 2,000 but when you think about the pope usually isn't elected until he is ~80. So over a 40-50 year career as a catholic clergyman 2,000 would be a drop in the ocean.
I mean as soon as a catholic clergyman brother/priest is caught touching up little boys the church just moves him to another dioceses where the sexual assaults against children continue unabated.
So we settled on 5,000. Do you think this is a realistic number? Or is it still to low?
