Newegg.com's got a Cardexpert gf3 golden sample for $269, and a Visiontek gf3 ti500 for $319.. exactly how big of a performance difference is there between these cards, and which do you personally advise that I buy? I'll want to overclock it significantly as well.

Well, I'm not sure how the Gainward GF3 GS cards oc. I am using a Visiontek GF3 Ti500 though. Right now I have mine running fine at 260/590 (from stock 240/500).

Of course as always oc speeds will vary from card to card. You should probably check out some reviews, indexed here to try and see what the average oc should be.
