I know the Japanese have doors made out of paper but PC cases?

here or is the link if you are interested in seeing it. You have to wait a while for all the pics to load. The cardboard case is close to the bottom.

Better pics here at Overclockers.com.au but you must sign up as a member to see them.

Cheers

The East Germans made cars out of cardboard saturated with some kind of plastic. No matter what color they were painted to start with they all faded to a sick looking yellow.

Since I don't read Japanese, let me pose the obvious question:

And you would achieve proper grounding . . . how??? 😕 😕 😕

What needs to be grounded?? Just take all your stuff out of your case and put it together on the table, no case. no seperate ground wire, it will work just fine. There are many many members on this board that have computers built on a plywood board.
Check the distributing forum and ask.

Bleep

lol that is some funny sh1t. we had a whole bunch of left over computer parts at work and i tried putting it in a cardboard box, but it was too much work to make the slots for all the cards and ports. so i decided to strip down a case to bare aluminum and clearcoat it instead.

btw it was called the homeless computer.
