Card switch driver procedure?

So I'm going to swap out a 9100 for a 9800 pro in a couple days, and was wondering, can I just leave my current cats in place? Driver issues only arise when you switch driver sets...not hardware that uses the same drivers...right?
 
You might want to at least re-install the latest cats after the swap. Just double click the install exe and reboot.
