Hey guys and girls,

I'm putting together my dream system (Core2 E6700) and I need suggestions for a video card.

I was looking at the 7950GX2 Dual-GPU cards, but the motherboard I like is an ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe, which as I understand can only use one of the GPUs on those cards, so that's a huge waste.

Any suggestions for a kickass card? I have up to about $600 budgeted for video.

Wait, why does it use only one of the GPUs, where'd you get this information!?!?!??!?!? Don't start listening to the ATI attacks until we figure out your problem!

There are a couple of reports of people who have gotten it working on the latest revisions, but I don't know that I want to take that chance. It seems more people are having problems than not.

That being said, you need to flash the bios just in order to support a Conroe chip, so who knows???

Assuming (for the sake of argument) that it would work on the board, would you guys recommend the 7950GX2 over the x1900xtx?

Yes, I would recommend especially because the 7590GX2 from EVGA is only $500 now.
