Card passing over chipset fan

Hey guys,

I have an Epox 9NPA+ Ultra. I recently installed a card in the middle PCI-E x1 slot, and it's a bit long, so it passes right over the chipset fan. So the chipset fan still has lots of room to blow air but a small strip of it is blocked by the thickness of the card, if you can picture what I mean. Is this going to hurt anything, possibly make the chipset a bit too hot? I could move the card up a slot but then my main ATX power cable will pretty much be sitting right on the card, I don't really want it to do that, unless that'd be alright.

Thanks.
