i want to upgrade my graphics to something with HDMI out with sound to go to my plasma and also do some moderate gaming . but , i'm not really up on the whole PCI compatability stuff and want to double check that i'm understanding stuff OK .....

my board is a very modest MSI G31TM-P21

with a Q6600 and 4 gigs of ram (2x2 gig)

i am considering 3 cards ...

HIS iCooler H777F1G2M Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

HIS iCooler H775FS2G Radeon HD 7750 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131461
PowerColor AX7750 1GBD5-DH Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

will the cards above fit physically and work electrically with my PCI Express x16 (PCI Express Bus SPEC V1.0a compliant) slot ?

will the speed ability of my MoBo's slot impede the cards much since they are not cutting edge cards ?

i know ... older stuff , but i'm not able to buy new CPU/MoBo/Memory/OS at this time .
BTW , i have a 750 watt thermaltake power supply in my antec mid-tower .

thanks for any help and comments . ;)

good to know my board will not be a bottleneck for the card's performance , and thanks for the quick reply .

another question ......
if i wanted to move up to a GeForce GTX 650 Ti or a Radeon HD 7850 will that also work and still be within my boards PCI Express x16 (PCI Express Bus SPEC V1.0a compliant) slot ability ?

yes it will be fine as all PCIe cards are backwards compatible with previous slots but i would be worried about your cpu potently bottlnecking the card in some games unless you OC it .

Edit: Also i wouldn't look at the GTX 650 Ti as it cost the same as a HD 7850 while performing much slower
