Card Collectors

By graded I mean to have the PSA determine it's quality...mint, etc...

I was just wondering if anyone knows the procedures for this and how much it costs to have it done.

PSA will grade sports cards if that's what you're looking for...but a couple things to keep in mind are that

a.) cards that are still in the packs are often not gem mint 10 <-highest quality

b.) it'll cost you to get your cards graded.

Yikes, that's damned pricey. I have an opportunity to pick up a Michael Jordan Fleer Rookie #57 card for a great price locally.

Man, 15 bones to have it graded in 10 days...hmm I guess I'll suck it up and go for it...thanks man!

What happens if the card comes back no-graded (trimmed, counterfeit, etc.)? Will you be able to get your money back from the seller? And remember that in addition to the grading fee you have to pay postage both ways.

Go to your local Card store, most places have PSA or Beckett memberships so you pay the cost of the grading plus like $5.
