Now the other questions:
They say that these will rival CRT's in terms of image quality. What about price? And do they handle resolutions other than their native one? Those are two of the reasons I've never gone LCD - cost, and the fact that interpolation looks like crap. Sure, in a game, it's almost like free antialiasing, at least in some games. On your desktop, it causes headaches.

the article says they will be cheaper to make than lcd's.
also, a lot of big names are in on this, so this is not pie in the sky
