brittle, expensive, static, lack of emi shielding. you can put some CF on the outside of a case... if you just want the look...

...or we can do what plastic cases though and have an aluminum plate on the panels... along with an aluminum frame. That's gonna cost $$$... 😀 CF isn't brittle from the beginning... the problem is when if you somehow crack it... that's when it pretty much loses everything.

if your building a case with it then this is a moot point since case amterial has nothing to do with heat transfer since your not useing the case as a heat sink.
CF is nice and all but costly. you work with it similar to fiber glass
id honestly take who evers suggestion and use it to line the out side and inside if you want the look thru out and leave it like that.

You can buy some fake carbon fiber paper (it's like Mac Tak that your mom lines the cupboards with) from (car) tuner shops/customizers (the brand Foliatec comes to mind). As far as how it translates to being installed on a computer case, I'm not sure.
