Carbon Fiber Wrapping Opinions

I like the look of the stuff when used tastefully but has anyone used this? I'm considering wrapping the interior plastic-chrome parts of a car where the plastic-chrome has become stained.

Is it a pain in the ass or what?

'07 Forenza nothing fancy really. 3M makes the wrap. Roll is like $20
