where can i pick up a carabiner? I dont need a fancy REI one...I just need one to hold my keys and such.

PS - why are they called carabiners?
 
I think Home Depot carries them, but they're probably overpriced. You could probably find them at your local dollar store or something.

Not sure why the name, but I believe they were first used for climbing.
