I'm thinking of going 20% all around in my scion tC, but I'm also considering putting limo tint on the rear/small side windows. For those who have 20%, how do you like it? Is it too dark at night?

100% means your windows aren't tinted :p.

Just had my windows tinted a month ago, and got 20% on all side windows, 13% on the back. I'm used to it, and I can see fine while driving at night.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I wouldn't go any lower than 20% on the sides. You are able to pick your nose in all but the brightest, direct sunlight, plus visibility is still decent enough to drive safely IMO. Only go darker on the back if you have decent sized side-view mirrors to use at night. Some people prefer to go the same percentage all around, but I've always been a fan of the back window being darker.

50% front, 35% rear. I would like to have 35% all around. 35 is not too dark to see out at night, but just dark enough to be difficult to see into.

35% all around (don't tell the cops!), I wish 30% was an option.

Don't get mixed levels of tint, it looks like ass.

Don't know the percentage, but only the two rear passenger windows are tinted. I removed it from the rear window and the front windows because I couldn't see sh*t at night.

I can't remember the exactly number but the rear windows and back are darker than the driver and passenger windows. I wanted them all dark around but in this backward state, it is illegal to do so.

I wish my windows were tinted...it gets WAY too bloody hot in my car. Is the legal limits the same in all states? I was thinking about doing 20% all the way around, too. I like having the tint continuous all throughout and doing away with the mixed percents. I don't think my car has any tint on them right now. Not even at the top of the windshield.

15% all around, its just the right darkness for me.. cost me $200 in tickets so far though, but no way it's coming off.

Some states don't allow any tint (esp anything < 80%) on front windows. I tried 20% and it's not too great at night. My current car has a very VERY light tint on the rear hatch and sides... barely noticeable.

I'd go for 40% at most for the back window...

No tickets for me though, although an OH cop gave me some crap about it.

35% (if I had to guess) on both front windows. Was there when I got the car.

If you get your windows done...whatever level of tint you choose, DO NOT get the cheap tint. It turns purplish after a while. Don't ask me how I know. :(

I'm thinking about having it redone, and doing all the windows this time - possibly going a bit darker.
