i'm going with base accord. coupe. it's a nice looking car, and has plenty of getup to send you and 3 other passengers, with luggage, up over 100 mph. as tested in west texas.
searching, studying and reviewing. i want to get the most bang for my buck, which also inlcudes long term reliability. My brother has an older camry with 265K miles and it's a horse. My gf's Rav4 has almost 200K miles and we just recently drove it from SF to LA and back with no problems.
I'm not a hardcore Toyota fanboy but their reliability is awesome. I totally forgot to include Mazda 3 in the other poll.
altima.interior may not be as good as the accord/camry, but at around $17k or so, it's only about $3k more than a corolla/civic, but it has a big 2.5L engine and enough room to haul lots of stuff. it doesn't look half bad either.
Civic - no question. Accord my second choice tied with maybe a Jetta. I won't even sonder a VW bug or Rabbit.
The Camry is an appliance. 😀
I have a lot of friends with Accords and have driven them all. Great cars, and they easily out handle the smaller Civic and Sentras because of their stupid under-sized wheels to get a few more MPH. Why Honda / Toyota /Nissan do this is stupid because the Infinity G20 and Sentra RS were some of the best cars made.
Still, the Civic is more economical to drive than the Accord.
