*Car stuff!* Double Clutching and heel-toe?

This probably belongs on a car forum but anyways... =]

I wanna learn how to double clutch and heel-toe, I am learning how to double clutch (hasn't become 2nd nature yet...) and I want to learn how to do heel-toe braking. I know the mechanics of it, (while braking you clutch in, neutral, clutch out, roll heel to gas, clutch in, new gear, and clutch out...correct me if i'm wrong) I just am looking for some car/racing kind of videos that show how to do it quickly and smoothly. any websites containing video demonstrations would be very helpful, thanx!

Chances are your gearbox is synchronised, I would think that double clutching would not be nescessary. As for the heel toe shifting, I think it is included in the Drift Bible video.

Oh, and in case you really want to double clutch here is a brief explanation:
"You do "double clutching" on the upshift:

lift off => depress the clutch => switch into neutral => release the clutch => depress the clutch => switch into a higher gear => release the clutch => step on the gas.

You do "double declutching" on the downshift:

lift off => depress the clutch => switch into neutral => release the clutch => [blip the throttle, increasing rpm in order to match the higher rpm of the secondary shaft in the gearbox needed for the bigger DIA lower gear] => depress the clutch => switch into a lower gear => release the clutch => step on the gas."

Hell and toe is easy, it's the only way i can drive, i have trie to use both feet before but i find it very uncomfortible, and y do you want to double clutch, do you intend to drive around in cars with gearboxes that lack syncros? to heel and toe you find a spot on the floor where your foot can reach both the accellerator and brake and pivot on your heel when you need to change pedals

Heel and toe does not involve the clutch necessarily. It is a technique that affords more car control due to quicker on/off gas action than moving the foot accross. Plus you can use both at the same time if you need to.

Double de-clutching? Meh, ignore the clutch, just jam it in. Ask Paddy Hopkirk.

When heel-toeing or maybe using each side of your foot (eg the ball of your foot on the brake and the outside edge on the accelerator) it's very handy to have a car where all three pedals are perfectly lined up. My mini's had the brake pedal about an inch towards the driver thus making it a bit harder to do. Having said that, the travel of all three pedals was tiny compared to that of modern cars. The entire clutch range, for example, was only about four inches so shifting was very quick.

I like minis (not the BMW ones).
