San Diego? I sure hope that shit clears up before I get there on 1/6. I'm going to be tooling around in a rental car.

Been pouring down rain in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Listening to it on the skylights at my work. Mission Valley is a bad area because they essentially built the area in a flood plain.

That looks nothing like SD. I'm looking out the window now at seeral inches of snow.

no worries. this is supposed to be the last day of the storm.

Sweet.

OT: I want to get an In&Out burger ASAP after getting the rental at the airport. Should I plan ahead and see what locations are on my rout to my buddy's place, or are they so ubiquitous that I won't be able to miss one?

Where's your friend live? There's two about 5 miles or so from the airport, you won't just spot them driving so you should plan ahead.

I'm so glad I don't live in Mission Valley. No flooding in Del Mar or Carmel Valley. :)

You shouldnt have a problem finding one, the closest one to the airport that I can think of is the one off Rosecrans.

A 30 minute drive from the conference I'm attending is all I know, for now. Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure to look their locations up.

My back yard is pretty soggy but no flooding in and around the house. We do have a minor roof leak though in one of the bathrooms upstairs (not the master bath thank god). Guy is coming out tomorrow to take a look and tell us how much to fix it.

you're coming in through lindbergh field? closest one would be a straight shot north from pacific highway. it is on the corner of rosecrans and sports arena blvd in the point loma area.

hope that person learned to no longer attempt to drive across a flooded street with their vehicle

Qualcomm Way, correct?.
I drove through there yesterday afternoon, water was right up to the edge of the bridge.

OK, get your geography straight. SD is SoDak or South Dakota. San Diego is Dago with a long 'A' Everyone know this.
