Best bet is to go into a shop and check out what they have, or go to a car audio show. Ive found car audio enthusiasts tend to be very loyal to specific brands so its hard to get an unbiased opinion, and with audio quality being a very subjective thing, your chances of getting a valuable opinion over the net are slim to none.
