I have the stock Honda Accord car stereo and I want to listen to my iPod into my car.

How could I wire an iPod to my stereo WITHOUT buying a new head unit w/ an AUX input in front?

ALSO, I do not have a tape deck and I heard the iTrip has bad quality..

What is the least expensive way to hardwire my ipod into my car stereo?

Does anyone know if the stock 2000 Accord stereo has more inputs on the back? If it did I could just get an RCA to Mini-Stereo converter and run it through the dash? Does anyone know where I could find a diagram of the headunit or instructions to remove it without tearing up my dash?

If it doesn't have an extra aux input, but has a CD-Changer option... I could buy a converter from CD-C to RCA?

Any other suggestions or comments is much appreciated.. I don't know much about car stereos.

Thanks!

Umm ... well, I can't tell you if it does or doesn't have stock ins for sure, but I'm going to bet no.

You're probably just best off finding an FM transmitter and sucking up the crappy quality. That or get a new HU and improve not only your connectivity but your overall SQ as well.

Think you're out of luck, stock Accord HU doesn't have aux in.

You can get an FM modulator for your Ipod, let's you listen to it through FM radio, but personally I don't really like how it sounds.

Ugh.. =(

What about the CD Changer Adapter to RCA? I heard it just 'tricks' your car stereo making the cd change function an aux input... the converters are a bit pricey (about 70-100$)

Also, could anyone recommend some cheap headunit w/ AUX in? The cheapest one I found on crutchfield was 99$

Thanks again
