Car speakers wiring ideas

Current front component speakers, (driver side bass blown)
Bass 2.2ohm, 28watts
Mid 4ohm, 10watts
Tweeter ??ohm, ??watts
Do not know if the watts written on the speakers is peak, or RMS. Have owned car for 9 years, and was always satisfied with the sound, and volume. I'm told the head unit has an amp for the fronts in the dash, and an amp for the rear door bass speakers, under the console. (I'm told 50watts, ??ohms, they're OK for now) I do not know anything at all about these amps, nor do I care to rip the the dash apart to find out. current wires in doors are 1 set to the bass, and 1 set to mid, and tweeter. I figured if one paper type speaker goes the rest are sure to follow, so I'm replacing all of the fronts. What I bought was a quality set, all rated at 60watts RMS, 4ohms, with 2 included passive crossovers. The crossovers have settings for the mids, high & low, and the tweeters, 0,-2db,-4db. I do not *have* to use them, but would like to if I can.
How should I go about wiring in the new set???? Is there any way testing what is being sent by the amp to the 2 sets of wires???
