i have a mb quarts(component) at the front and a not known speaker at the rear(eXcursion)4", run by 150 watts per channel(it's a 4 channel (hollywood labs'excursion) amps and it's 600 watts). now, IF i put a 1 subwoofer(JL audio)with enclosure should i connect that to the 600 watts amp with the mb quarts and have to buy a seperate small amps(punch 100a) for the rear, does that make sense and what if the fader works for the 4 speakers as front and the subwoofer as the rear with all that set-up? btw, i have a 200 4runner

I think most people usually feed the rears and sub off one amp and the fronts off a smaller if they want to do it like that. I'd consider just getting another amp for the subs though.

For better imaging I would suggest running your rear speakers from the deck. I am assuming it's a multichanel amp you have some run the Quarts and the sub from the amp. Quarts love lots of power so you might consider getting another amp anyways (1 for quarts, 1 for sub(s)).

what do you have going to your amp? Line level inputs? I think you should get a new deck then before getting a sub.

btw how is the that 1801 year old 4runner doing? In fact I wouldn't reccommend driving it anymore!!! ;)
