Are you changing your oil every 3000 miles? Do know that 3000 miles is the recomended interval for severe condtions right?
I didn't ask for an asshole response. I don't live in severe conditions, and just because I was born in Sweden doesn't mean I stayed there. Richmond doesn't qualify for extreme conditions. I got annoyed with the manager because I think it's extremely premature to say that I need a timing belt change now, and yes I thought she pushed it a little too far. I understand that with interference engines it is much cheaper to be proactive on the timing belt; however, at the same time being too proactive also makes the shop more money. Being proactive on the 110k requirement listed in the car manual would be changing it at 100k or 90k.
