I'm looking to rent a big comfy car for a road trip from LA to Vegas. I have a hook up with a local place and I can get a 750iL or S550 for the same price a regular luxury sedan would cost at hertz.

So which should I get? The benzo or beemer?
 
I think I'd rather ride in those rather than drive them. If I was driving I think I'd want something more along the lines of a decked out 5 series that split the difference between being a luxo-boat and somewhat engaging to drive.

But between the two choices given I'd lean to the BMW both from a badge baller standpoint and the fact that it's likely a little more sporty than the Benz.
 
the company almost exclusively does flag shit cars so no 5. I really wanted the A8 but it's rented for all of the weekends I had in mind. Anyway, I plan on driving the car around in Vegas but just riding shotgun the whole way there and back.
 
The Benz will be more luxo ride. The BMW more fun to drive. So it depends a bit on the route you plan to take. Lots of twisty roads where you can have some fun, the BMW is the choice. All interstate and you just want comfort, take the Benz.
