Car Radio Issue

Wanted to hear a specific song on thumb drive which is AUX and scrolled through menu to it. Now, that's the only song it will play on AUX. Click FF and/or RW, it plays the same song. Radio is not on Repeat and Random is selected. I see no way to back out of the selection of the song. Tried restarting the radio, removed and reinserted the drive all to no avail. Removed thumb drive and deleted song. Now nothing plays on AUX even though it recognizes the drive. It must be looking for the same song.

If you were looking for assistance, it would help if you told us what car/stereo you have.

Try a different thumbdrive. Scan that thumbdrive on a computer. Try formatting and putting the files back on it. Disconnect vehicle battery or just radio fuse to clear volatile memory. Consult radio owner's manual. Learn to like that song. 😵

This worked. It must write the instructions to the drive but when looked at in Explorer, there were only MP3s.

No, wasn't just one song on it.

Probably a corrupted partition table and reformatting it wrote a new one.
