So I've got a 91 civic. It's nothing special, but it's well-taken-care-of.
It has a tape player which is starting to go (making really odd squeaking noises).
I don't plan on buying another car for a year or two at least (still in University) and I do regularly keep up with repairs on this car. So I'm thinking about getting a CD player/radio installed to replace my current semi-broken tape player/radio.
Is this even possible? Will a new CD player be able to digitally talk to my aging car?
Also, what would it cost? CD player + installation? I obviously don't want a top of the line system, just something that will take a CD and play it as well as keep giving me AM/FM radio.
