Ok, I've been planning to restore something for some time, but haven't had the capital to put into it for a while.

I have a rough MG-B ('69) and a rough Vega wagon ('73)

I've always wanted a '55...'57 chevy 2 door, or a '60 or '64 impala, or a chevy II.

Find someone who wants to restore an MGB and sell the car to them. Then fix the Vega or get a Nova (Chevy II) The MGB is a desireable earlier model without the rubber bumpers or the necessity for smog equipment. You should be able to find a buyer for it.

Yeah, the MGB is a '69 (?) so it has chrome bumpers, no emissions, etc.
it was originally bought as a parts car for my mom's MGB, which she hadn't drove in 20 years, and has since been sold..

The thing about MGB's over Vegas is.. MGB parts are easier to find than vega parts, it seems.

No replacement for displacement, so I picked - find a rough '55, '56, or '57 2 door, drop in big block 😉

yeah, the 55...57's are just so damn classic. hard to resist.
