Im going to be purchasing a truck in January. By that time i will have $6500 under my belt solely for this.

Would it be a good idea to buy a nice, used truck from a dealership, or finance something newer, but used?

im a teen of course, and pull in about $450 a month.

Generally trucks depreciate more slowly than cars. A newer on might not be such a bad investment.

full size ftw, and parents are doing insurance, since im going to be paying for everything else. i wish i could do it all.
