Car: My Car had a flat today so I filled it with air but

I filled it up at a gas station and noticed it was leaking and that only putting the plastic cap back on the tire does it stay sealed.

Anybody know how much pressure that little plastic cap can take before it blows off the tire when I'm driving down the highway at 75 MPH ?

PS: Anyway to repair it ?

Shouldn't cost that much, probably just need to replace the valve stem on that tire.

Of course, how valuable is your life to you? Take it to a shop, and if they recommend replacing the tire, then replace the tire.

One of my tires did the same thing about a month ago when I aired it up, I took it to Walmart and they put a new valve on it for $1.85.

The valve stem probably just needs to be tightened. You can find tools to do this at any auto parts store, or in the bicycle section of most department stores.

Or if you have a pair of needle nose pliars with thin enough tips, you can carefully use those.

^^ this is the most likely answer. Just tighten the valve core (not the stem itself, but the core inside the stem).
