i need to know if there is anything i can do to fix the clutch in my car. Its seemingly impossible to shift the damn gears. I have to use more force than nessecary to shift into 1st 2nd and 3rd. 4 5 and reverse are no problems but is there something i can do to losen it up a lil bit for easier shifting.

Does your car have a clutch cable? If so, it may be time for an adjustment. But it would prolly be a problem in all gears if such an adjustment were the fix...

Take it a professional and get a real diagnosis, preferrably the dealer. A few bucks spent on a true diagnostic is often a lot cheaper than a buncha wannabees guessing at local butcher shops.

What do you mean by it is hard to shift. Is the stick real stiff like trying to move a stick in hard mud, or do the gears make noise when you shift, and its hard to get it into gear?

Also you did not say what kind of car.

Your clutch is causing you not to be able to get into gear? No this isn't your clutch. More like a tranny problem then clutch. Possibly synchros going bad or something along those lines. Take it to a shop - it's not going to get any better by itself. And no, more then likely it's not a simple "tighten this" or "adjust this" to make things work properly. Take it to a shop.
