Im looking to get insurance for a Infiniti G35 or Altima 3.5 in Los Angeles. I am a student at UCLA and I have no moving violations ever. However, I also am only 20.

Does anyone have any idea as to how much this will cost?

PS- the Infiniti is just a dream, the Altima is a maybe ;)

My parents want to "find out just how expensive car insurance can be before you look at models"

ATM I drive a 1987 Olds 110 Hp rocket ;)

you can get free quotes on most insurance websites. take a look at statefarm.com or allstate.com

i am 24, have a clean record, a 2000 Grand Prix SE and barebones minimum - full coverage, and i pay $140 a month, in Arizona. i would think it wouldn't get much cheaper than that for you....but look around.

Actually, you are lucky. I saw one online quote at ~5000 a year. That almost made me kill myself on the spot :disgust:

Edit: That was more than min coverage, however

i've had really high Geico quotes, but allstate and statefarm (i use statefarm) have been about the same. oh and remember, that isn't minimum coverage. it is full coverage, but with the minimums (get what i am trying to say?)

Yow! I pay $92/mo (full coverage) for my 2000 GrandAm GT (I'm 33, San Jose, CA), and I think that's too high...
