i moved...is it normal for my insurance policy to increase or decrease depending where i move to ? it just jumped up 200 dollars after i changed my address last night.

i thought i just got done paying the last part of my 6 months, and they send me a nother email saying i owe 200 more dollars.

Depends on the location. I moved 20 miles further away from work, and my premiums went down $40 for the year.

Yes, I moved and my insurance jumped 600/year. I had 4 months left to renewal, so they kindly prorated that for me. How attentive!

I moved to what you would consider a historically "rough and tumble" city, but my subdivision is the start of the impending gentrification. So even though I'm in suburbia, the AAA computer reports that I'm in THE BARRIO!

of course.

Listen to NascarFool, shop around. With your new area, comes new rates with all the carriers. You'll probably find one cheaper than your current carrier.
