premium is 200$ a month for 3 cars, and I am wondering if it is too much and maybe someone in my similar situation is paying a lot less.

01 jetta 1.8t with 500$ full coverage(called secondary on car insurance to save money)
97 grand am with liability only (gfs main car)
94 civic with liability only (used as main car on insurance)

I am 21, GF is on the plan too,and is 19.

Anyone think I am paying too much? haha, I am with Allstate.

Try Progressive's site online, they do price comparisons. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I saved a lot of money by going with Geico. And it was Progressive that showed me the Geico rate, about two-thirds of Progressive's.

Good luck, it pays to shop around.

I pay $460-ish every 6mo (so just under $80/mo) for full coverage on my truck ('98 Tacoma x-cab 4x4, etc) and liability on my car ('86 MR2)..24yo male, single, clean record.

You should have a kid too, you know just so you have all the bases covered.

So you have 2 shitty cars that will break down any moment, and a backup car that will start in arctic weather... interesting.

is yours an late 80s/early 90s model?
the insurance rates on those ones were screwed by the pre-ricers back then. dillweeds would lower them and put loud exhaust, ugly body kits, and neuspeed or eibach stickers across the windshields. then they would "race" around or crash them.

i don't think having kid reduces insurance cost.

Forget full coverage, Liability+Comprehensive ($100 deductible is usually that much of a premium)+Uninsured/underinsured will pretty much cover any base shy of an at-fault accident. Collision is super expensive.

I pay $94/month for full coverage for an 05 Sienna and liability for a 97 Ranger.
I am 29, my wife is 28, no tickets or accidents (in the last five years).
This is through Pemco.

so lets say, god forbid, i get into an accident and hit a car, and that car hits a car : will insurance cover this with only comprehensive and liability?

Also, is that the one with no cost glass replacement?
