Car Insurance Question

If you borrow someones car and get into an accident, will there insurance pay? More specifically if i borrow my parents cars and i am not listed on their policy( bc i attend college outta town and im only home once in a while) and i come home and borrow their car and if i get into an accident what happens? is it still covered?

Yes, it should be covered, as insurance actually follows the car not necessarily the driver.

However, a close relative or someone who has permanent residence in the same house as the primary driver could be "excluded" from the policy (this is to prevent people from not disclosing all of a car's regular drivers). Call your agent.
