Ok, it's supposed to be 60 degrees tomorrow and my car could use a good cleaning. I have a bunch of questions in regards to what people use to clean various parts of the car.

What do people recommend I use to.....

1) clean the windshield and the rest of the windows
2) clean the dashboard (basically the whole front area of the inside of the car)
3) remove black marks from my scraper that are on my car cuz I scrubbed some ice off the car too hard
4) remove a stain in the cloth seats
5) clean tires, rims, wheels in general

Also, should anything get cleaned under the hood? Any other car washing/cleaning tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Scenarios 1,2,3, & 5 are all good areas to use Windex on, though Fantastic may be better for the dashboard if it's a little greasy. For scenario 4, I'd suggest using that oxi-cleaner thing that they show on tv, all you do is "squirt it on and the stain is gone" or soemthing like that. No need to spend $50 on cleaning supplies "meant" for a car when stuff you already own works jsut as well.

Use brake fluid to take out any small scratches on the paint. Just put it on so that it covers the area, let it sit overnight and wipe off in the morning. Its just that easy. ;)

Note - dont actually do it. I forget how trusting people can be over the internet.

:Q What in the world?! I would never use Windex on my car! If it is going to get that warm... it means it is gonna get cold again and then dirty again. Just give it a good scrub down and when it is spring then worry about getting it really clean. There is a whole website dedicated to car care, Autotopia.com I thought... but that doesnt seem to be working. Can someone link me up??

I know there was something that people recommended in past threads that they use instead of Armor All but I can't find it
