Car documentation after move

I recently (April) moved from CT to MA. I still have a CT license, registration, insurance, etc. My CT license is due to expire next month. I think it might be a good time to switch over to MA? After that I know I have to do the insurance first, then registration. The thing is, I dont have the title for my car yet (paying off a loan), I'm wondering if I should wait till I get the title before I change my insurance to MA and then register my car in MA. Btw, my old address in CT is still valid, my parents live there. Anyone recently moved states and done this?

I live in MA. It really doesn't matter either way, but if you still have a valid address in CT, it will be less expensive for you to wait.

Hmm, the renewal for my CT license is $66. How much will it cost to get a MA license and registration?

Legally, don't you have to register your car in the state of your official residence? I doubt it'll get noticed unless you're stopped for a traffic violation.

About $40 each, but insurance is more expensive.
This may be helpful.
