car dead????

hey some of you may of read my thread about some of warning lights coming on for no reason. well the other night i noticed my cd player would skip unnormally and within a few mintues i could tell the battery was low (lights were dimming) well now the cars dead when i try to start it. itll click but it wont start. we just replaced the battery 3 weeks ago. is this the alternator or something else??? thanks for any help

Yup. Most likely the alternator or the belt associated with it.

Atleast that's what I'd check first.

Charge the battery. Drive it to an Autozone or large chain. Most have will check your chargeing system for free. Then you will know.

ok well we tried to get it to autozone but it wouldnt hold a chage that long... any ideas?
