Someone's sarcasm meter is a little broken .

He meant, generally people think with AWD, they can do stuff a normal car wouldn't do, and still be safe. Taking a turn too fast, going at very dangerous speeds, driving quickly in the snow, etc. While AWD is generally safer, people think they are untouchable, do stupid stuff, and get into wrecks. He is just imitating an uninformed AWDer.
